What to do about me niece and nephews?

Question

My brothers coming to visit with his wife, and their three kids (twins on the way) for two weeks. I love my niece, and nephews to death, but I can never find a way to keep them entertained for long. My brother and his wife are probably going to go out once or twice which leaves me (possibly my boyfriend) to babysit. Their all really young. Yaffa's 3, David's 4, and Benjamins 6. What can I do?

I'd ask your bro & his mrs to bring something that will keep them entertained.  I know they're still your neices & nephews...but their not yours!

You are soo lucky that you will only have them for a few days! .... my NEPHEWS one is 5 the other is 2 and they are TERRIBLE... they are like MY KIDS... im with them 24/7... i dont know how i do it!!!... take them out to the park... put on movies for them... give them ice cream... good luck!!!...

Make pizza's with them!  Even the 3yr old can put cheese on a pizza crust.

Play cars, watch a movie, go for a walk, play catch, play simon says, make a present for mom and dad.

Have a dance off!!  My kids absolutely love doing this - me too!  

What we do is turn most of the lights off, grab some flashlights (strobe lights) and crank the radio.  Usually we all just start dancing at first until one busts up into some crazy dance move - and so I initiate it by going "Go Jordan...Go Jordan...." and then cue the next kid by switching to "Go Serena...Go Serena..."  Even mama gets a few turns!

Its always a huge hit in my house, and as an added bonus - after about a half hour to an hour of that and theyll be beat!  Keep the lights off, grab some popcorn or have them help you make some party mix, and have a sleepover in front of the tv with a fun movie.  

I swear they will never forget that one.  BTW, my babes are 9, 4 and 3yr old twins and none of them get distracted or bored with this.
