What to do about menstrual cramping & bloating?

I can't stand the bloating. The cramping I can tolerate. Midol is not working. What can I do reduce bloating?

  1. reduce salt in ur diet, and as strange as it sounds, drink alot of water.  u'll pee out most of the bloat


  2. for the most part i would say there is only so much that can be done, bloating is a natural symptom of pms so we'll just have to put up with it

  3. Bloating is perfectly normal and you won't be able to get rid of it completely, but you could try eating a lot more fibre for the week or so leading up to and including your period.  Also drink loads more water and avoid gas inducing foods such as beans, lentils, too much fruit etc.
