What to do about my acne?

I'm 16year old male I've been suffering from acne since I was 12years old. I still get really bad break outs and have bunch of acne scars on my face......

When I go see my dermatologist which procedure should I do

I understand there are bunch of procedure regarding about acne

such laser, microfiliation, and more

can anyone please tell me the procedure and what should I do...

also if you can give me the price range that would be great I live in NJ

  1. Hopefully your dermatologist will explain everything in detail with you. If they don't then I would find another dermatologist to go to. There are positives and negatives for every kind of treatment. You will have to weigh those and determine which direction you want to go in.


  2. Ask your dermatologist what vitamins or facial wash should you use.

  3. Apply a dab of white toothpaste on the acne at night before going to bed. The toothpaste helps dry out the acne and decrease inflammation.

  4. Go to the store and buy a thing of fish oil pills. Ideally one thats higher in EPA than DHA and take 5 or so a day. They help like you wouldn't believe.
