  1. Hi!

First, you have to make sure that he doesn't have Wet tail, a common disease among small rodents. A hamster that has Wet tail will get a severe case oh diarrhea and will be dehydrated.

    SYMPTOMS: -diarrhea

-his fur is full of p**p and he smells quite bad

                            -not as active as usually

-the hamster might not be interested in food

    and water

If he has these symptoms then I recommend you to buy him some dry- tail from the pet shop and make an appointment at the vet for your hammy.

If your hamster doesn't have these symptoms that is very possible that he ate to many veggies or fruits that cause him tummy problem. If so, put him on solid food immediately ans try to give him other types of food as rarely as you can. You will have to give him water with an eyedropper because the lack of water is very dangerous for your hamster!

You have to remember that new types of food are introduced slowly in hamster's diet to avoid this kind of problems.

  2. Well if it has diarrhea than give it rasberry leaves. You will know if it only has diarrhea if it is acting normally but has liquidy f***s, still drinking, eating, running, ect.

If it has wet tail than go to the pet store and buy some DryTail and get him to the vet ASAP if possible. You can also give it some rasberry leaves. You'll know if it is wettail if it isnt eating or drinking or running around.

Please note that Wettail is very serius and many hamsters die from this disease so seek help as soon and fast as possible!!
