to ease with pain while breathing tuck a pillow on your chest and breath slowly not forcefully while head of bed elevate 45 degree that helps expand the lungs. if u feel sob shortness of breath call the 911.

The pain is probably from the CO2 being trapped inside the abdomen. You should walk!( as much as your doctor recommends.) and rotate your arms in a circle. It helps dissipate the trapped air. Good Luck!
