What to do about this boyfriend issue.....????

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. We love each other very much but have been going through hard times with problems at home and at work...we decided to make sure that we take time to see our friends. The problem with this is that all of his friends are SINGLE. They love to check out other girls and oftentimes have girls with them when they all hang out. I dont want to make any more problems between my boyfriend and I...I trust him, I just dont know if I like the situations that his friends put him in with these other girls around. Lately they have been bringing other single girls with them when they are all together. It bothers me!

am i being over protective?

No you have that right and if your boy friend thinks hanging out with his single friends and single girls then he does not respect you or your relationship.

Its one thing to hang out with your friends but there are limits and lines you don't cross when in a serious relationship with someone you care about. Obviously if he wants to hang out with his friends and they require single girls to hang out its not a casual "lets go kick it" time its more of a "hey dude Shelly is coming over get your *** over here maybe we can get her drunk and she will do stupid ****" . . .

Don't get me wrong he could be a nice guy with friends who are girls and boys. There is nothing wrong with that, and he should be able to hang out with them with you trusting him. Its mostly situational, what is he doing with this single friends? Answer that question, then ask "is that something he should be doing with me? Answer that question and final ask yourself "is that inappropriate for someone who is in a relationship to be participating in without significant other? (ie single night at a bar)

Take those three answers and I think you will have your answer. Its a respect issue, for yourself, for him and for your relationship.
