Ok so today i was on the train minding my own business, when a ticket inspector on the train came and asked me for my train ticket so i looked in my wallet through about 10 different train tickets, didnt find it, i looked in my wallet and then my bag and then the pocket in my jumper.... DIDNT FIND IT!

The ticket inspector who gave me the fine told me that i might not get a fine if i can find my ticket! Guess what? Still cant find it!

What should i do?! I'm not paying a fine, when i did the right thing....

I can get my Sycologist too write me a letter if need be, do you think that will help?

  1. What's your issue with holding onto 10 different train tickets - presumably expired. Get your act together, be more careful where you keep your current ticket. Grow-up, pay the fine and don't put your shrink in an uncomfortable position of asking him/her to lie for you. If you do go to the shrink, I hope he charges more than the fine!

  2. Your problem if you loose your ticket   You cant push the blame for not having your ticket on someone else...take responsibility for you own misfortunes

  3. You want to have a psychologist write a note saying that you wouldn't steal a ride? I highly doubt that would have any influence whatsoever.

And, you didn't do the right thing, since the right thing is to buy a ticket and hold on to it until the conductor comes by. If the ticket isn't in your pockets or your carryons, there is a good chance it left your person before you even got on the train. In which case, you boarded a train without a ticket, and broke a rule.

Pay the fine, and it'll be a lesson learned for the next time you buy a train ticket.

  4. apparently you need the shrink and a class in spelling

    dont scam the train

  5. my friend, ive had that problem. and you know what we did everything we could to avoid the fine(my dad lost the tickets) but in the end we had to pay it. i bet you were travelling on south west trains or east midlands trains as they are very strict when it comes to tickets.

you are just like my dad! he has about 20 old tickets in his coat and a further 500 at home!! yes we do a lot of travelling, therefore he loses and mistakes ticets all the time):

  6. If you lost the ticket, that's your problem, not the train company. Are they supposed to just believe that you purchased and lost the ticket? If they did they would get that scam every day.

I don't know what a psychologist would have to do with this.

Unless you find your ticket, you'll have to pay up and be more careful next time.
