What to do about white spot?

I have a white spot on my skin. I am pretty sure it is a type of fungus. I just got a cut on the white spot. Do I have to worry about the fungus getting inside me and if it does what will it do? How would I treat it?

my kids have pigmentation marks like that..i am not sure what has caused it..but on my daughters stomach it looks like a reverse pacman...are you olive in skin tone..because my kids are..and i figure its because they are not as white as me i would never notice a spot like that

they can go back ...it could be from a scar like a bug bite or a burn that can cause it to loose the pigmentation in that spot...the spot can even get sunburned my daughters pacman did last year and was polka dotted for a while...and sometimes they can just go away..you can use ambi soap its in the black hair care section...its a soap that evens skin tone..i would use it in that area if you are at all concerned about the difference in color...do you have eczema or psoriasis because those too can cause you to loose the pigmentation on those areas of the skin that are affected
