Be more specific dude. YOu are graduating from school or what? Since you are 18, I assume you are an undergraduate and want to pursue some bachelor's degree.Which degree to pursue? You should ask this question to yourself because no one knows what interests you? what you are passionate about etc... So, spend some time. think over and then only decide.. Don't give into parental pressures..Parents just want to see you happy . so if you can convince them about what you wanna do.... and explain to that this can bring success into your life, then i am sure you will have no problems with them.

If you are graduating high school, go to college.  You will be stuck in a dead-end job with low earning potential (usually) without a degree.  If you are graduating college and dont have a job, join the peace corp.  It will help you find a direction and give you motivation to succeed for the rest of your life.
