So, I'm 19 now and was wondering what kids like me do if they still want to compete in tournaments and stuff (USTA). Or any other kind of competitive tennis.

  1. Go for it, but watch out since you might play 18-19 year olds, but you will also play 20+ because your going to enter senior tournaments, this will be hard and it can be difficult.

Look out and get prepared and start training, you can still do something with your life in tennis, but only if you work your pants off lol :p.

Try and get all that extra practice, I understand at 18 you might be doing study s for Uni and all, but you will really need to go hard out at 18, It might be difficult, but really. Its all bout time management and if you can squeeze an hour of practice a day, you will succeed.

I wish you the best of luck!

    Phill.

  2. you can still play USTA tournaments, just at the adult level.  There are different skill levels to keep the competition fair.

  3. Play in your college tennis team.
