  1. In Dublin there isn't going to be so much to do in February, but i'd suggest visiting Trinity college, and walking along the river liffey. also, i'd suggest going by train to other cities, train is a very popular mode of transportation in Ireland and it will get you places much faster than a car, and you still get to see the beautiful scenery! enjoy your trip, i know i did!

  4. In Feb you are going to see a lot of rain!!! You are only here for 4/5 days so see as much as you can. To the north of dublin is a place called Newgrange - its a huge celtic monument burial site, more impressive than stonehenge and older than the pyramids. Go east to Galway, its a cultural city very vibrant while there you can also visit castles in the area as well as the cliffs of Moher. Visit Northern Ireland especially the Giants Causeway its incredible and very popular. There are not many festivals in Feb i don't know of any. I am from a town called Dundalk its a non-descript industrial border town not for tourists!!! Enjoy your visit i know you will have a blast try to see newgrange you won't regret it. Hope the weather is not too cold or wet.
