  1. LOVED Dublin! See Grafton Street for shopping and some cool busking musicians. U2 got their start there. Also Temple Bar area for awesome pubs and, of course, the Guinness factory.

  2. the weather is slightly warmer than Scotland's.

the city main architecture is Georgian, so like everywhere some parts are lovely, others not so.

I'd advise you to go on the Dublin bus tour, that brings you everywhere then you can decide yourself where is worth visiting again.

I bring friends from overseas to Guinness's, Kilmainham Gaol, Christchurch, and on a pub crawl around town!

  3. When we were in Dublin we did the Hop on and Hop off bus as above, the ticket is good for 24hrs, we bought ours at 13:00 used it till about 17:00 then used it again the next morning from 09:00 till 13:00, great bargain.

We also visited the National Gallery of Art, I never realized that the Irish had such fine Artists.
