What to do at a 12 year old's birthday party?

Ok, I'm turning 12 (on my sister's account) and have nothing much to do at my birthday party. My friends are staring to come at 1 until 3 and nothing exciting starts until 4.

So far we can play on the Wii, go to the park and PictoChat on our ds (there will be at least 6 people bringing thier dses). Then we will make our own ice cream sundaes (I'm going to have a ice cream bar) and decorate my cake (yes, my friends can using icing to decorate my cake). Eventually my mom's friends will actually pay me and/or my friends to sing karaoke lol (it's happend before).

What else can we do?? About 5-10 kids will be there.

well is it too alate to Chang It to a sleepover? lol one item i had a bunch of friends over, and i planned out my whole sleepover! bad idea.but, we had at least two thing happen that we did on the list. just play it by ear, and do fun stuff! sleepovers are great dor some girl-bonding time. we did each others make up , did our hair, videotaped us doing stuff, wasted movies, ate a lot, went outside, p,went on the computer, played charades,talked, and did so many other funny stuff  trust me if you yourselves you guys will have a great time. hoe this helps!

My 12 year old daughter says it sounds like a pretty darn good party!!! Have fun!  

Otherwise -- you could get some kids toys -- older kids like you and your friends might have fun hitting around a playground ball if you are in the basement for indoor volleyball. You could go outside with water balloons. If you are driving your mom crazy and getting hyper you could go outside and play Everybodys It Tag (the name is pretty self explanatory.)

A cookout at the park with the warm weather is always a fun hangout when I was younger.

Swimming - its always cool and hot for that in the summer. So, a swim party, maybe?

Roller rink -skating, perhaps?

Pizza at your house along with cake, music, and fun games? You can play pin the donkey (old game, but lots of fun) and another cool thing I always wanted at my parties when younger was a pinyata (however you spell it). You get your favorite character, candy, hit it with a stick and it explodes and you can pick up and fight over candy (well, maybe not fight.. haha), but it was a fun idea...

karoke is always fun... but cost lots of money if someone is willing to pay for it, I say, why not? Its fun and easy! Dancing and fun...

Video games are cool, but some may not like video games, so maybe something that others may enjoy besides video games?

If you have a trampoline, go kart or 4 wheeler, everyone can have fun with these as well. Make sure parents of other kids sign the form for safety and that your parents aren't responsible if they get hurt. I always enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with friends.

Just be creative as possible and enjoy yourself. Happy early bday!
