What are you interested in? Make model airplanes or trains. Woodburning kit if your parents think you're old enough to do it while home alone. Painting projects - paint by number or plaster mold. Go to a craft store with your folks and find a kit of something you'd like to try.

Read - library has a great supply of books, and videos/DVD's.  What do you want to learn about? All kinds of true stories that will expand your mind & build a great character that will make this summer memorable. My kids got a great book on solar experiments we're working on now which includes sundial, compass & hot air balloon instructions. Choose books that could lead to a hobby or craft instead of those to waste time (mysteries, etc) while you're alone & you'll get more out of it.
