my friends daughter is having her bday party at the end of this month. she needs ideas. they kind of want to have tents in the backyard and make smores because they have a bonfire. and just have a bunch of girls spend the night. they are also thinking about dvd invitations. any more ideas? the birthday girl is very girly and energetic, if that helps. and she doesnt want a spa party.

  1. that's a really good idea. i love going to friends houses and camping out (infact, i'm doing it tonight) - it is more fun if you have guys round, but then again, i'm 17 and she's 13 so there's a slight difference!

not everyone likes camping either. so a dvd film night would be great, with loads of food. they're girls - they'll have fun gossiping and stuff.

so yeah, they could have a bonfire and roast marshmallows, but then sleep inside where it's all warm.

  2. They can have a Ice cream bar and do ice cream sundaes. get everything you need to make sundaes. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, mini marshmellows, whipped cream, cherries, caramel, crumbled up oreo cookies, snickers, reeses pieces cups.

The smores is a great idea! Have nachos/cheese, pretzels, chips, chocolate covered strawberries, you can either  do hot dogs and hamburgers or just order pizza!  Put soda and water bottles  in beach coolers outside. Do the limbo! Play music and dance. Watch girly dvds. They can do a fashion show and dress up in dresses and stuff and have judges.

    HAVE FUN!!!

  3. Go to the city and see a play or a movie...eat at a nice restaurant then come home and sleepover...that's what my friend did!!

  4. Try taking like a scavendure hunt and make them find clues that would lead them up to something (outdoors).

  5. You should all make an Italian Cream Cake for her birthday. If you go to Food Network.com and type in italian cream cake you will find a recipe by Emeral. I made it for my birthday and it is the best cake I have ever had. Its simple to make and doesnt take a lot of time to make.

The idea with the tents in the backyard and movies is cool. You set up a white sheet and projector the movies on the sheet like a drive in movie. If you dont have a projector you could probably rent one. That would be something different and fun.

You could also have a water fight in the afternoon if it is nice out. That would certainly tire them out for the evening.
