What to do for a cyst that is on the chin?

I've had a cyst for about 11 yrs. It comes and goes. It's usually under the skin but sometims will come up to form a whitehead but if I try and pop it, it just weeps. I am putting Tea Tree Oil on it and that seems to take it down but sometimes it will pop up out of the blue. Why?

Alternatively, have it permanently removed, the NHS may do it.

Are you sure its a cyst. You can have it removed and also take antibiotics . My friend had the same thing on his neck.
