What to do for a different christmas

i want to make christmas this year extra special but am stook my partner mentioned going away for it but he only has xmas eve day and boxing day off and i cant find anywhere in uk that is a reasonable price as there all coming back at £5oo pp id like to go to a log cabin or quiet hotel somewhere in the uk failing that what can i do thata extra special this year to make it real festive for us as its our 2nd xmas but 1st one on our own

Travel to Scotland preferably in the mountainous area, higher a cabin of some sort - or a lodge...whichever you'd likeand settle in there for the holidays.

The pricing isn't as extorianate as going abroad and you still can achieve that different and festive asmosphere without prices rocketing sky high.

personally i would make it more festive for yourselves!!

over decorate the house, buy in some really special food, get some saucy undies for you both, make love under/by the tree..

there are many things you can do, i hope you get to do something fantastic and truly enjoy yourselves! x

Vienna at Christmas is a magical place, trouble is they all put their prices up at Christmas. Might be worth looking at.

Paris is magical and romantic, not sure when the Euro Express is running over the Christmas though.

You almost need an all in package, something classy but not too expensive, hotel, transfers and meals. I think it will have to be Butlins again. Sorry.

save up and get really good camping gear, a winter sleeping bag excetera. then go up to the closest mountainous area and camp there for christmas. only have small gifts and make sure you practise loads of times camping and also read hundreds of books about camping in winter and make sure you know what your doing camping in winter as it could turn into a disaster. once you've had a christmas camping you might take a home christmas, with loads of presents, for granted. hope this helps and im not being rude :) just an idea for you to maybe try out. good luck with finding ideas. have a merry christmas! lol
