Hey I am currently about to start my first year at sixth form college and I wanted to know the views on my choices of subjects and maybe what I should take at University.

I am open to any suggestion of job but as long as it makes sense with the subjects I have taken.

Mathematics (Statistics)

Computing

Media Studies

Philosophy

I myself just a student trying to work his way through education and want to know maybe on other people's experience on maybe what I should do after sixth form.

Thanks for any answers. :)

  1. With Maths and Computing, fields like computer Science should be easily accessible to you. there's a few ways to take that, with statistics there's things like data analytics, with comuting/programming you can get into software development.

I'm more biased to that side of things as I work in IT =). I'd say the only one you'd get questioned about is media studies, for some reason or other it's just got a bad reputation with some people. But As long as you can explain why you chose it, why you do it, and show you're actually interested you'll be fine. (I never did it, but some people, usually people who do straight science/math a levels say its a mickey mouse subject). But then again I did geography AS level and people call that colouring in...
