Will house insurance cover this? Is there a deductible like with your car? Does the house need to be broken into or will a mysterious disappearance be covered?

  1. Cash is almost never covered by insurance.  If it is it would still be subject to your homeowners or renters insurance deductable.  All you can really do is file a police report but they probably won't take much interest in it either unless you can give them a suspect and some kind of proof you actually had the cash and someone else took it.

  2. I'd file a police report first. You are most likely not going to get any insurance money back. Sorry for your misfortune. I don't think anyone covers missing cash.

  3. My suggestion is trying to get as much resource as you can before making final decision, here is a good one.http://car-insurance.easyideas4u.info/ca...

  4. i would be freaking out. Don't automatically jump to conclusions that some one broke into your house.think of were you last might of had it. if you have a broken window or you definently know that it was a robbery then call the police. take pictures of all your jewlry so if it is missing, you can show them the photo. houuse insurance might only cover it if there is descructio n to a part of the house like a door, window or wall.
