Question:

What to do if my name has been misspelled in the voter registration database?

I just completed my application for voter registration a week ago right on the deadline day, and I started receiving mail from different candidates for different positions wanting to be re-elected when I noticed that they all had the last letter of my middle name spelled wrong uggh ~ it's a u but they all have an a. I'm guessing that this may be a big problem and they might reject my application to register because it won't match the name under my social security number (dunno).

What should I do? I'm planning on calling or going to the office right away on Monday. But the last time I went to the courthouse, it was especially unpleasant with this old man who worked there harassing me with "nihao nihao nihao nihao~ what's wrong? why aren't you saying hello to me? well that's real rude. aren't you Chinese or something??" UGH Also, my parents told me to register at the DMV and this man who worked there told me there that I wasn't able to register there because of such and such reasons? Is this for real?

uuh ^^; sorry for the long description. I will be very grateful if anyone can help me :)
