My 3 year old son has a h4 visa and it will expire in October 30, MY husbands h1 visa will expire in September 25. The embassy said that they need 3-5 month ta give my son a new pasport. The only short way to do it ,to travel back to our country, but it will cost a lot (i have to take my 2 kids) . Do you know what to do in this situation.?

Our loyer told us ,that they can give a new visa to my son until october 30 and before that time he must obtain a new pasport and lave country for obtaining a new visa. What if he will not have a new pasport at that time? should he still lave country if his visa is expired or may be we can applay that we are just weiting to obtain a pasport.

I hope that you understand me, and thank you for your help!

  1. I have a totally different view about your "problem" because there is no problem at all. But you mentioned that you have a lawyer already. Since you are paying him, follow his advice.**
