Hasn't happened but the fear is always there so what should i do?

Grab rubber gloves? shut off my circuit breakers and unplug the light before I reach for it?

Also if it falls in, would my fish become zapped fish sticks?

  1. well, i don't know about the second one, but if it were to fall in, you would unplug it, and take it out.

  2. Go to your local pet store and buy a light protection case they fit over your light to stop it going in.

  3. My light did fall into my fish bowl once. immediately unplug the light wait about 10 seconds after unplugging it and pull it out. my fish were fine

  4. buy a splash guard for your light (most should come with these anyway), and stop worrying!!

yes, you can electrocute your fish

  5. i dropped mine in a saltwater and got zapped.

It scared me more than it hurt though.

    Fish was fine.

I would unplug it if that happened.

  6. unplug the light then the circut breaker. then take out the lamp with rubber or heavy duty rubber gloves.
