  1. bust the vcr n get a dvd player

  2. get a dvd player!

  3. what is this 1986? upgrade to dvd. you can get a dvd player for like 30 bucks.

  4. Unplug the V.C.R

Try to open the V.C.R and remove the tape from the wheels without breaking the tape.

    Replace the V.C.R.

If you break the tape, use scotch tape and tape it back together. Unfortunaltly it will skip over that part of the tape, but you can still enjoy the rest of video.

  5. toss it, tape ugh.

  6. If the entire tape isn't ejecting (as opposed to the cassette coming out but a bunch of the tape is still tangled up inside the VCR), lift the front flap and with a flat object like a butter knife or a spoon, prise the tape up and out.  The only problem is that the next tape you put in there may do the same thing.  A new VCR doesn't cost all that much and it's either that or pay just about as much getting the old one fixed.
