What to do if thehands are burning after dealing with chilly?

well, there is some kind of reaction going on in my hand ,as I can feel....

I think there must be some way ,some thing to treat this...

  1. "Chilli dissolves in fat (which is why yoghurt drinks and sour cream cool the palette much more effectively than drinking water or beer). So, to get the chilli off your hands, 'wash' them with Olive oil, (or any other oil-based substance). hey presto! NO more sting."


  2. After you wash yr hands under running water, just soak yr hands in milk.  It works for me.  I tried this as a trial & error & to my surprise, it really eliminate the burning feeling.  Give it a try.

  3. The same thing happened to me after slicing and dicing chilli.  My hands burned for 2 days.  I now wear a plastic glove when I chop chilli.  I just kept holding my hands under cold running water when the burn got too much.  Good luck, I understand what you are going through.
