The mother could eat them or abonden them.

Depending on how friendly the mother hamster is waitt 5-7 days to hold them but if she's kind of mean wait 2 weeks.  Also if you do pick them up at 5-7 days rub the bedding on them to get the scent of the mother back on them.

The mother will eat them.

If you have already touched them, pray for the best and that the mother won't eat them. Don't touch tehm anymore until they are atleast 3 weeks old.
