What to do if you have a recalled meat product>?

I have recalled meat product. Its the maple leaf cooked ham. What do I do with it? Call the company and let them know, or throw it out or something?

YES YOU HAVE TO let the company know!!! This is known to have caused the Listeria outbreak..

Throw it out and if you've eaten any watch out for symptoms related to a listeria infection and if you do notice any get to the docter because it can be very dangerous for young/old people and people with compromised immune systems aswell as pregnant women(not to them but to the baby). The incubation period for listeriosis is variable and ranges from 3 to 70 days, with the median incubation period being three weeks. Oh and just so you know I'd avoid meat products(mainly processed deli meats) for the time being since they keep finding new infected products like the deli meats sold to Mr. Sub and McDonald's aswell as premade sandwiches.

Call the company, you can probably sue too if you already ate it.

You bring it back to the grocery store you purchased it at and you will get a refund. I work in a grocery store and that is what we are doing.
