  1. My mum n her mates go to this pub on union street called 'The Filling Station' that is an okay place to go.

The beach is always a good place to go as well. i no there isn't any pubs but the restaurants are just as good for atmosphere.

  2. The Illicit Still is great, quiet, but still lively.

  3. Tartan day on saturday!?  Oh aye, might have to check it out.  The prince of wales has a good rep as a traditional genuine pub, the one to the left before gap in the wee lane to the graveyrad. Emm hard to think what'd suit older folk, earlier on wild boar and old hogshead are nice places to drink and relax- though will get busier as the night goes on.  Try Filthy McNasties, Mither tap or somewhere not bang in the city centre like the butchers arms or northern, both on george street and both are better than what their reputation says.  Blue lamp seems popular with older folk and is definetely quiet!  Or what's that place on broad street, the illicit still?  That's definetely a lovely place.
