  2. On board ship you will get a list of tours for all of your destinations.  I seem to remember taking a tour there and shopping.  Also as stated above the Red Dog Saloon is a lot of fun.  Next door is a cafe that serves Texas burgers and frys and Alaska burgers and frys.  The Alaska serves four!!!  And it's good.

  3. If you are pressed for time i would do the lumberjack show and then have a couple of cold alaskan amber ales( best beer i ever had), at the red dog saloon.  If you have 6-8 hrs i would do a salmon fishing excursion. I would also book my excursion thru the ship, if there is a problem they cant run off and leave you. Last tip: TAKE RAIN GEAR.

  4. There is a great saloon there called the Red Dog Saloon.  It's alot of fun.

Also there is a Salmon hatchery that has live Eagles that are being nursed to be put back into the wild.  They are so big and beautiful - you can get about 3 feet away from them.

Lots and lots of souvenere shops, and fun little places to eat and look around in.
