What to do in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I will stay one week.

Ljubljana is quite a small city, so there are not so many big shopping centres available. Of course there is the Ljubljana castle for you to visit as well as some beautiful churches, and a visit to the marketplace is also an obvious thing to do. Otherwise I suggest you to be a little bit adventurous and do some (cheap!) bus trips to the other Slovenian towns. You can e.g. do some hiking and trekking in the Julian Alps area, visit the great castle in Bled or go canoeing in River Soca. But, in case you like to take it a bit easier, then the spas and beaches of Portoroz are just for you!
