I am not a tourist. Im going back to the island after like 8 years and Ill be visiting family. I want to make the best out of the trip however and don't want to have to ask Abuelita where the bars are!

I am college aged and love the culture. Any tips on the best beaches, bars, restuarants, festivals, museums, etc. in places like Ponce, Aguadilla, Caguas, Luquillo, etc.

Like I wanna know where the best rum is made lol. Or the best mofongo, w/e!! Thanks!!

  1. Don't worry, u will find : beaches, festivals, bars and restaurants on almost every corner in P.R u just have to look out which one u choose... Have Fun and Good Luck!

  2. Have no idea but good luck.

  3. There is alot of great nightlife in San Juan. Can u go there some nights?? In those other towns you will find local bars usually with outdoor dance floors. Every town has a few. Also the festivals are in every town too, just each at different times. Check out the website below.

You can go to the Bacardi Factory tour in Catano. They give free samples of drinks & u can buy cheap bottles (at the airport too). I think the Don Q factory is somewhere in the south, but Im not so sure &I dont know if its open to the public. The best chicken is at Maelo Chicken Fever in Bo. Barahona in Morovis. They do it like the pig over charcoals, mmm. Oh & the beaches are all good, it just depends what you like. Luquillo is nice & calm. Rincon & Aguadilla are for surfing & sunsets. Oh & crashboat is cool. Isla Verde is something like Miami. Vieques & Culebra are white sand. Fajardo has great snorkelling & fishing & boating. ENJOY!!
