What to do in St. Lucia?

Question

I'm going to St. Lucia in a couple of weeks with my husband; just the two of us for a belated honeymoon. We are staying at a resort (not Sandals). Any recommendations on things to do besides lounging around?

Check out the Friday night jump off in gros islet, the Saturday night street party in Dennery, visit the pitons, visit the sulphur springs and the waterfall, visit the botanical gardens. Check out the restaurants and clubs in Rodney bay, Go shopping in Castries.

i was in st. lucia last summer!  st. lucia is known for their rainforests, its one of the only islands in the caribbean (if not the only one) that has a rainforest.  there are a few places down there that offer zip lining through the forests.  i would highly recommend it.  the place i went to gives you a complimentary alcoholic beverage, they give you a full tour and history/info on the rainforests, then they take you through ten or so zip lines.  This was an absolutely amazing experience!  You must do this!!

Also, I don't know too much about it, but on one of the beaches down there every friday there is some sort of big festivity with music and food and dancing.
