I am in a cast for 6-8 weeks for a severe ankle injury, what are some things I can do?

(If anyone can give a list online somewhere of things to do too, I would appreciate that as well)

Anything you say will be valuable, I am so frustrated and bored, thank you so much

  1. you can take up drawing...that is if you have acces to yor writing hand,

If not, read some books on a subject you like.

Send time with those you normal woulnd not have.

  2. I am sorry that i can't give you a list but I was in a knee brace and on crutches for 5 months due to major knee surgery.  During the time I did a lot of reading and catching up on movies.  I suggest that you go on bigfishgames.com and buy a game or two that you think you will enjoy.  That kept me entertained for an hour or so a day.  Hope this helps and I hope you have a full recovery!!

  3. Pretty much nothing.  I have two people in my household who have ankle casts for different reasons.  One can go to school with the cast shoe, the other can't really do anything since they don't go to school, and walking's difficult for them to cope with.  If you get a cast shoe, you should be fine to walk to places and see things, but nothing too strenuous.  If you're looking for online fun, I usually play games on pogo.com.

  4. you could read books or fan fiction on fanfiction.net

play video games, sleep, do puzzles ummmmmm eat

  5. Read all the books you have been meaning to read, ask for recommendations based on what you have liked in the past if you don't know of any.  Watch DVDs, write a story, draw or paint something, spend hours on Y!A.

  6. Rent some crutches. It's only about $25 and you get your money back when you return them.  I recommend Walgreens.  Then you can go out and do sturff!
