What to do in an airplane when bored ?

im going on a trip to europe in about 2-3 weeks.

its going to be a long flight, and i need something to do while on the airplane.

i already am bringing a book, but i dont know what book to bring.

& i am bringing an ipod, so i can listen to music .

what else can i do ?

a nintendo ds? ps3?

a games console like thats something to do.

if you like doing puzzles, you could get like

puzzler or a puzzle book like that?

does the ipod you have play videos? when i went to europe last year, i downloaded movies and tv shows I havent seen yet. that kept me busy on the flight. i also use a travel journal so i spent some time writing in that.

Check the airline's website and find out what kind of in-flight entertainment is provided.  Some airlines have multichannel touchscreens at each seat.  Those offer several movies, television shows, audio programs and interactive games.

Make sure your ipod is fully charged.  Some airlines have power available for that sort of device.

don't bring a book. When i brought my book, i didnt read it at all. Unless you reallyyy want to bring a book, seriously dont bring one. An ipod is a good idea. You can also just buy a used psp or nintendo ds and a few games. That's what i would do.
