  1. You can climb the Story Bridge.

You can have your tea leaves read in the Brisbane Arcade 1st floor shop rendeavous. This arcade is in the city queen street mall.

You could go north of Bne. and go to Australia Zoo

or you could go about half that distance and go to Alma Park Zoo.

You could go to Southbank Parkland and hop on a citycat ferry and have a cheap ride up and down the river.

You could go to Ipswich on a train.  Buhy a translink ticket and visit the railway museum.

You could drive your hire car up to Mt. Cootha and look all over Brisbane.

How about drive your hire car to Scarborough on the northside and find the house that the Bee Gees grew up in.  There is a sign on the house and it is fifth avenue (I Think) It is in a street that has a little corner store in it on top of the hill.  High set wooden.

Go to the City Hall and take a ride to the top and be entertained by a lovely Italian man telling the Brisbane story. and have a look around the city.

There is an information centre in the Queen Street mall in the heart of the city that will be able to help you.  Travel safe. Have a great time.

  2. The XXXX brewery, shopping.. And as above.

  3. Go in to the city park there, and walk around take a city cat to south bank relax walk around take in the museum, shops, walk around the man maid beach, Really there isn't too much more to do

  4. hi, i live in the outer suburbs of Brisbane and these are my favourite attractions.

    - Australia Zoo -about an hours drive

-Dream World - Themepark - about a 2 hr drive

    -Wet 'n' Wild - Themepark - about a 2 hr drive

-White water world - Themepark - about a 2 hr drive

(At the gold coast, about a 2 hr drive from brisbane, there are 5 themeparks practically right next to each other)

-The gold coast beaches (best in the world!!!, says all queenslanders)

    -Climb the story bridge

    -All the museums in brisbane

There is alot more to do down at the Gold Coast, but i hpe this helps
