  2. I'm sorry you attracted bloody little englanders here (Nigels) as they always come out from under their stones when another country is mentioned.

    They are scum.

    Most English people are not like this at all.

    Just the Nigels.

    Now, depending on your preferences, the Trossachs area is stunning at this time of year.

    Get out the car and have a picnic, a walk, but just stop to look around.

    In Stirling there's plenty historic sites from the castle to the Wallace Monument.

    It's pretty much in between Glasgow and Edinburgh, two major cities that offer much from art, culture, music and food.

    Don't take any notice of the Nigels.

    Bring what you seek to find in attitude and you will have a wonderful time.

  3. there is a huge amount to do in glasgow, of course the scenery is the best, autumn is cold but beautiful time. and dont forget we have a great sense of humour to.

  5. go to Loch Lomond its only about 40mins drive from Glasgow it the most Beautiful place in the world.

    And the people are the same

    I was was also under the false impression that Glasgow was grotty but I couldn't be further away from the truth I am sure its got its bad parts like any city, but I was surprised to see how cosmopolitan it is and freindly it was.

    accent is a bit hard to understand!!!

  10. it's fantastic here in central scotland. glasgow and edinburgh are only 50 minutes apart by train and both offer everything you could ask for (except sunshine - well it is september !) stirling is also a great place to go, as is falkirk. culture, food, entertainment, brill folk. masses of history and plenty of pubs. What else do you need ? Oh and don't miss Jimmy Chungs chinese buffet on waverley bridge in edinburgh. fab !

  11. There is plenty to do in Central Scotland.

    Loads to do in either Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee or Perth. You could visit museum, galleries, Castles (such as Edinburgh, Stirling for example). If thats not your bag then there is the outdoors. Your not too far from either the Loch Lomond or the loch and hills near Perth for example.

  13. excuse me but the people who disrespectful about scotland , have u ever been ? I am from Edinburgh and i am glad to say what a beautiful city it is , you will never run out of things to do , the castle , princes st gardens and a load of museums , scots monument and so much more ..fantastic shops etc , not to forget the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace ....
