I'm so sorry!  lol!  Just shoot the 12 year old and yourself now and save you both the drama!  lol!  OK, seriously, for one thing you must find things that are safe that you don't have to attend.  Twelve year olds being seen with adults are mortified causing them to be rude and sullen.  Movies are a good idea.  Malls with other 12 year olds is probably your best bet.  Swimming pools are good if they like to swim.  Have a lot of money on hand and make a daily stop at a movie and game rental place.  Prepare junk food by the tons and secretly place it near the 12 year old while they are watching the movie and/or playing the video game.  Give them the opportunity to make money by washing cars and doing yard work for you and neighbors.  Try not to engage them in conversation because to 12 yr olds all adults are idiots and it irritates them to have to listen to idiots.  Basically, these are pod people left by aliens until the alien 12 year old is out of puberty and they switch back the bodies.  Our little angels are in suspended animation on some invisible space ship during this period.  Good luck

got the park, a sports game, the movies, there are a lot of fairs and suff going on those are fun... think of what they like to do and try to incoparate it in what u do

some 12yr olds are picky and get embarressed easily and dont like doing certain things they say are "lame"

others dnt care and go woth the flow

so it really depends on the kid

Anyways,

When  was 12 i hated to go out with my parents espechialy my mum.

If you trust them enough , why not let them chill with some friends.

They can go swimming,to the beach,shopping, to the movies etc.

Or treat them one day take them to a theme park!

If the 12 year old is a girl take her to a saloon to get her nails done of a make over, she will enjoy that!

If its a boy take him out to a sports match if he likes that sorta thing!
