What to do in this situation?

My fiance's parents split up when he was little. His mother lost custody of him and he was raised by his dad and step mom. His dad and step mother divorced two years ago and it got pretty nasty. He's spoke to his step mother twice since. She found out we were engaged and sent us a very nice gift.

His dad has a new girlfriend and he's contributing a lot of money to our wedding. So I know we have to invite him and his girlfriend. We're not sure though about his bio mom and his ex step mom. We're afraid of it causing drama.

We were wanting his six year old sister (her mother is his ex step mom) to be one of our flower girls.

  1. Forget drama for a minute.  Who does he really want there.  Dad, yes, his gf, yes.  If he was raised by his step mom and feels close to her then he should invite her, especially if her daughter will be in the wedding!  And the same for his mom, if hes close to her and wants her there, she should be there. but he shouldnt invite anyone he doesnt feel close to.

Just seat them all at different tables.
