What to do next to not get overwhelmed?

I am cleaning a very, very deprived room (busy with work, school and family issues and being severely depressed). I have clothes in the middle of the floor in one big pile for cleaners, washing, thrift store or flea marketing. I also have closets to reorganize. Should I dump stuff out of them onto this pile or sort the pile and do what I need to with them and then start the closet?

  1. yeah, work on the pile first, get this taken care of after breather, doing closets should be lot easier.remember to get plenty of breaks,if you get too tired, you'll probably lose most of your motivation

  2. Suggestion..

My next step would be to finish and sort what you have and put them where they are to go. Like thrift store in labeled bag or box, cleaners can take out with you then off to the car. Seems to me the thrift and dry cleaners can be done together just lable your box or bag.

After these things are out of the space and ready to move you can empty closet and start again with what is in closets.

one box/bag for trash, thrift or storage etc... just date box for storage and perhaps you will dump at a later time if you have not done anything with the things inside.

Give your self mini breaks to stretch etc..
