My husband planted three olive pips for a laugh. One of them has grown and is approximately 2" high! At the moment, it is in a small pot, but what do we do with it now? Will it survive in this climate (UK). It appears to be quite healthy and strong. Just wondered what the next step would be. Thanks.

  3. Hi im from the u.k too.

as its a seedling at the moment, it will be o.k outside, but in early autumn, you will need to put in indoors on the windowsill etc until mid spring, as its too small to cope this year.

once it gets to about 1.5 ft high it should be o.k outside all year in the south, or just spring/summer in the north.

    good luck
