What to do on a 15 hour car ride?

Question

I don't have a laptop or portable DVD player; and I get carsick when I read. Sorry, I know, kind of limited but all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, go straight for the hard questions.. Here in Aust. we have to travel anything up to a week to get where were going. (big country) If you cant read then you would get the same sickness from a PC or watching DVD's. Try a visit to your local library to see if they have talking books. (books read onto CD for the visually impaired) They can be loaned like any other book. Try magnetic board games (travel games/toy shop) Hows your Karaoke Haha!

I'm a car guy so I do what I call "The Public Survey".

I write down as many automotive makes as I can think of(Ford, BMW, Toyota etc.) and put them in columns. Then, set a time, like 20 minutes, and watch all the car's going the opposite way and mark down which make of car/truck go's by in each column. After 20 minutes tally up the total's(which takes a bit to do too) and see which manufactuer had the most car's on the road at that time. Sounds funny but it helps alot.

they sell hand games at walmart. around ten dollars a game. They have "tetras, who wants to be a millionair, twenty-one" and more to choose from.

get your ipod loaded.  But a game set like taboo or catch phrase and play that with people in the car.
