  1. Aww!! You poor thing! I feel so sorry for you and your little brother. Maybe ask your parents to buy you a cellphone [if you dont already have one] and ask them to let you go outside and you'll call them when you get to the place.

Otherwise, Here are some activities for you and your brother to do.

Spend an afternoon writing letters or making homemade cards to send to out-of-state relatives. You and your brother can make drawings, finger paint portraits, or collages to send to Grandma and Grandpa to adorn their refrigerator.

You and your brother can set up a play. One writes the skit, one decides what the play will be about. When your parents are free, Perform the play for them. You can make old clothes into the costumes.

I loved the  idea from " My awesomeness is noncontagious".

You can make some instruments. A guitar using a simple tissue box  and some rubber-bands,  Or a drum set using plates, foil cake pans, and pots!!.

I feel very sorry for you. Maybe one afternoon your parents and you two kid's can spend a day at the beach.

I know, After watching TV for hours and video games does get boring. I have 3 sons who are non stop saying " MOM I'M BORED!". If you live where there is a  busy street, Set up a lemonade stand on the side walk to earn a little extra cash on hand. You can buy that new video game you've always wanted!

  2. omg! i know! i mean i live in a house and have a pool but my parents are always out and  i have a 10 year old bro who seems as lazy as yours! [no offence].

see if friends might come over or you can go to a friends house..

make a drum set out of paper plates, stix, and cake pans..

  3. So what if you cant go outside, why not make up new games inside? Not everything has to come out of a store to be fun. Try learning how to cook with  each other, make your family something nice, that way, your parents will be more relaxed to let you go out to the bowling alley or skating or the mall or something. My step sister and brother were in that same exact case and it worked for them all the time. Remember, timing is everything! Good luck and have fun!

  4. You probably should talk to your mum about your situation. Let her know how boring it is for you and your brother to be inside all the time. She probably might be scared for you safety, so you can also ask her to escort you to places of fun in your area. That way, you can have some fun, and she will also feel ok.

  5. I so feel very sorry for you (for I have been in that situation way too many times). The best I could ever come up with is to just go to sleep ... and eat.

It's funny because it's boring summer days that make you wanna go back to school. Ha-ha.

  6. Try board games or card games

Go to a craft store with your mom and get some crafts to work on

    Rent moves.

    Get a pen  pal.

Clean the house (mom will love that)

    Do a jigsaw puzzle

    learn a musical instrument

make a collage of pictures from a magazine

    Make bracelets/necklaces

    Draw, paint, color

    Hope this helps!

  7. Actually if your parents are leaving you home alone all day they are breaking the law.  Federal law states that a child has to be at least 14 to stay home alone unsupervised all day.  It is also against the law to put a child (yes you ARE a child even though you are 13) in charge of another child for longer than a few hours...all day indicates at least an 8 hour work day for your parents.  If your landlord finds out about you kids being home alone he/she can evict your family and report your parents to CPS which will more than likely place you kids into foster care at least until your parents can come up with a workable solution to this problem.
