What to do on boring plane ride!!??

Question

i am going to holland tomorrow. actually i might go next week...but anyways.... i am 13 years old and i hate airplanes!!!

i cant even go to sleep. i need things to do on there. i would take my ipod but its not working at the moment. i also have a three year old brother so i dont want him to drive me crazy.

any suggustions??? thanks! <3

Build a model hot-air balloon using an almost-empty jar of peanut butter for the basket. Stick a G.I. Joe inside to add to the realism.

ur 13? cool.hahahah.im 14 and i&#039;ve been flying alone for like almost 3 years now...bring a magazine or a book since ur ipod isnt working..u can always enjoy those in flight movies..but they get kinda boring sometimes...bring something fun..

I&#039;ve had to travel a lot for business lately, and I hate flying too.  I&#039;ve found the best ways to pass time are:

* Get bunch of magazines that you like.  I find that a variety of short magazine articles keeps me interested in reading longer than a single book would.

* Books are good...but get one you really like or you will get bored.  The shorter the chapters, the better, I say.  That way it&#039;s easier to put the book down when your eyes bug out and get tired.

* Get (buy or borrow) a Nintendo DS or similar small game device.  I finally broke down and bought one about 3 months ago, and it&#039;s great for the airplane.  I don&#039;t know what games you&#039;d be interested in (I&#039;m a 32 year old guy), but some of the &quot;Brain Age&quot; type games are a great time killer.  I played &quot;The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass&quot; during two 4 hour flights, and it really made the time go quickly.

* Get some puzzle books if you like those.  I got into Sudoku, but crosswords and the likes are good things to have stashed in your carry-on bag.

* Bring a portable DVD player if you can buy or borrow one, and watch a movie.

....That&#039;s all I can recommend at the moment.

well im 13 too n if ur i-pod dsnt work...read magazines n stuff n watch dah movie dt dey showin on dah airplane n im juss liek u i cnt fall asleep either

This probably won&#039;t help you on this trip. I would go to the library &amp; walk around to see what subject I am drawn to. I would then get interested in reading. Also, go to the book section &amp; see what people like at your age. If you love reading you can be happy anywhere with a book. I know even though I love to read it can get boring on a plane trip.

i got a 7 hour flight tommorow and i&#039;m just going to go to a shop in the airport and buy as many magazines as i can..only thing i know how to pass the time.
