What to do out with a 3 year old?

I'm tired of being cooped up in the house all the time and we are tired of the same old sandbox and bike. We want to go out but what can I do with the 3 year old? We do the Zoo alot but don't want to drive the 2hrs today.... HELP

Go to the park or one of those indoor play places.  Do you have a cheap movie theater.  The bookstore.

Do a craft with the kiddo! Or cook something. At this age, they love to help and make things. Something simple like edible playdough. Or fingerpaint, or make macaroni noodle necklaces. Get creative!

Park, library, play areas at malls, playdates with other kids, the aquarium and local farms that give tours.  Check out your local free magazine (we use Parentingoc for orange county or www.parentingoc.com) for tons of events to do!
