What to do????

I'm only 16 and I had s*x 5 days ago, and I'm worried that I could maybe possiably be pregnant. I'm so stressed that I literally fill sick. Its too soon to find out if I'm pregnant. What should I do, I'm so freaked I'm barley a functioning human being. I'm distracted that its all I can think of all the time I cant sleep and can hardly work. Does anyone have any advice?

relax! It's all you can do until you will be able to take a test. There's no point in worrying yourself sick, the act is already been done. Try to think about what you want, what you would do in either case. And for your own sake, practice safe s*x from now on sweetie.

Hey, I know how you feel. I've been in the exact same position. Just try your very best to stay calm, and I know it's really hard to do. You just have to remember to breathe, and know that it will be o.k. You just need to be patient and relax, and if you miss your period, then you need to go see a doctor. But for the most part, just stay calm and try not to psyche yourself out. If you get TOO worried about it you will start to actually convince yourself that you ARE pregnant, and then you'll really start to freak out.  So really, just try your best to stay calm. =]

Tell your parents, see a doctor (hopefully in private) best thing would be to tell a FRIEND'S parents so they can help you... your parents might be upset if they knew. Scratch that, not might, will. Don't. Do. It. Again. Unless... you know, I suppose things will be okay, then re-attempt >_>

Don't worry, don't stress!! That will only make it worse., I swear.  Wait it out, see what happens, then act on this thing.

Well you have to wait a little while to take a pregnancy test.  Buying one now though might make you feel better, because then you've done all I think can reasonable be expected yet.  The other feelings you have are clearly psychological and probably have a lot to do with your feelings about having s*x for, what it sounds like, the first time.  Someone also wrote to see a doctor--but again, too early.  Find ways to distract yourself, and try to talk to a friend about the experience itself, because you are probably feeling overwhelmed right now.  

You need to find a way to sleep and have some relaxing you time.  Hopefully the guy did use a condom, and you won't need to worry as much, though if you are, I'm assuming he didn't (make sure he does in the future!!).  Just relax for now, and try not to beat yourself up thinking about it.

That's what s*x does to young people. If you feel this way about it, it's an obvious sign that you shouldn't have done it in the first place. Plus, why would you? Your 16 and your still a kid, no matter what you say or do or act like, if your mommy is still taking care of you, your too young to be having s*x.

This comming from the common sense of a 15 year old, and you still haven't figured it out? Your going to have a hard life.

The obvious answer, is go see a doctor. But you may not be pregnant. You may THINK you are, and it makes you feel physically sick.

It's one of those things, where you think about being scared, and you end up actually being scared. Or actually being sick. Do you have hypochondria?
