Where do i go and how to file for dual citizenship? I live in florida and i wanted to be able to stay longer in the philippines without having to pay for fees. How long does it take before you became a dual citizen?and what are the consequences?

  1. Find the nearest consulate for your nationality.  Example, the Philippine Consulate, in Florida.  Google it... look it up in a phone book... but that's where you go, and from there they can tell you more.

    I know some countries don't allow dual citizenship, but I don't know specifically which ones.  Sometimes you can lose citizenship in one or another country, or problems can arise when traveling for one reason or another, but you should make sure what the allowances and specifics are at your nearest consulate.
