What to do to deal with the discomfort due to the braces removal?

_I got my braces removed and I feel discomfort in the back of my mouth and my palate, I can't take it anymore!!!!!It's not pain just an awful annoying discomfort!!!

  1. Take any pain reliever (Tylenol, Asperin, Advil, Aleve), and also use Ambesol or Orajel on teeth and gums. In will get better, your mouth just has to get used to the braces being out now.


  2. Give it some time. If it lasts longer than two weeks, go see your orthodontist. Take an anti-inflammatory painkiller and eat ice cream. And smile, goddammit, all those months of metal-mouth were worth it!

  3. Take 2 Motrin/Advil/Tylenol/Aleve. It will work wonders.
