My god brother's having a birthday party tomorrow and there are going to be a number of kids. I know some will be toddlers. The ages are from like 2-16 years old. Its hard to keep my god brother entertained, how am I supposed to help keep 4 or 5 more entertained? I know I'm going to have to keep them entertained because I had to help last year at his 1st birthday. What games can we play to keep them entertained and happy?

  1. My son LOVES toy cars, even simple inexpensive ones from Target. Toddlers will often play around each other instead of with each other, so make sure there's plenty of things to play with.

  2. How about setting up tables with different activities?

Play-dough, paint, over sized balls to kick and play, squirt guns, buckets/shovels, music to dance to, sprinkler if it's hot, blocks, cardboard boxes to make houses, musical noise makers, and construction paper/glue sticks/stickers/pipe cleaners.

Try walmart or your local craft store but you can get some very inexpensive kits to make door hangers and such. Even sand art kits.

adding: Duck, duck, goose. Parachute Game(the giant over sized/colorful cloth parachute). Follow the leader. Simon Says. Red Light, Green Light. Mother May I?. Hot Potato. Bubbles. Bean Bags.

  3. I know it sounds funny, but try dancing. I babysitt children of multiple ages and dancing never fails. My kids range from infants to the age of 9. I just get on the computer and go to youtube. My kid's favorites are Apples and Bananas, Happy and You Know It, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, Elmo's Song, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, etc. Some don't have any particular dance to them so it's fun to let them pick out their own dance. As long as one of the kids are interested in it they will all catch on and be entertained for a long while. Good Luck!!!!

  4. Easy, play a fun CD, like the wiggles, and dance with them, they love that, blow up baloons and let them go crazy hitting them and playing with them, also, they love anything that makes noise, so you can give them noise makers. They also love to hit things haha, so let them, give them a stick and let them hit a pinata, rig it so that it breaks fairly easy first. You can take them outside and blow bubbles, play with water guns, sidewalk chalk, etc. Make sure you have enough for them all or they will scream.

  5. Buy some cardboard, and some shaving creme. Go outside, set up the cardboard, and get crazy with the shaving creme. I used to do it all the time when I was younger and my daughter who is 3 loves it too. Its non toxic, and cheap!

Or get some magazines, paper, scissors and glue, and have the kids make collages of stuff they like.

  6. Ring around the rosie, read books, paint, color, hide and seek, puzzles...
