  7. Ah, I can help with this one, I am currently in a state of ketosis.

    Ketosis is where you lose a pound a day. You do it by not eating ANY carbohydrates - this involves:

    Bread, Cakes, Pasta, Potatoes, Beans, Rice and all other grains (such as anything that includes wheat/gluten)

    If you don't eat any carbohydrates for 48 hours you will go into a state of ketosis, and as long as you don't eat carbohydrates you will stay in that state and lose a pound or possibly more every day. It works for me - I've lost 16 pounds in two weeks.

    This is not to say that you starve yourself - you still need to eat, but just cut out carbohydrate completely.

Commonly when someone loses weight at a fast rate, you will usually gain it all back in a short period of time because your body at this point will be so used to starving itself that when you go back to a normal diet it will latch on to EVERYTHING you eat. It's better to go slow and with a normal healthy diet that way when you get to your desired weight it won't come packing back on.
