HI TO ALL OF U OUT DERE........I AM 16 YEARS OLD AND PLAY VOLLEYBALL.I HAVE REGULAR PRACTISE IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS. AND DA WORST PART OF IT IS I GET TANNED THE MOMENT I AM OUT IN THE SUN.......SUNSCREEN DOESNT HELP...IS DERE ANY NATURAL REMEDY?????

  1. haha this is a first iv heard not wanting a tan, so first i think yes ur spf is too low go 4 the big guns factor 50 or 60, wear a cap to cover ur face and a cover up like a really light long sleeved top u wan something fowy to keep u cool wen u play  try something like a light nety material or muslim its light but will keep the direct sun off u xx

    Goes on well and I put a bit on my hands, decolletageand face every day and I have porcelain perfect skin.

    I used to tan but after seeing the damage starting already and pictures of people aging worse just from the sun I switched and 2 years later my skin is great.

    Completely blocks the sun and works better than anything else I've used..

    You will thank yourself when you're 30!!


  3. i didnt read the other answers but you must be using the wrong sunscreen or you dont apply it often. Sunscreen will sweat off so keep putting it on.

       And of course, the highest the number on the bottle is best.

  4. what SPF are you using? try a higher number.

    The moment i go in the sun i burn. I use some stuff made by neutrigina that is SPF 80. i get a tiny tan through it but def. don't burn.

  5. Maybe Sunscreen isn't helping for you because the S.P.F is too low, try get one with a high S.P.F.

    Tanning's not a bad thing by the way... But make sure you have suncreen.

    As for natural remedies... I don't know any.... You COULD wear long trousers and long sleeve shirts :)

    Eat vegetables like spinach and tomatoes which reduce tanning.

    Walnuts are supposed to be good too.

    Carrots reverse pigementation.

  7. Use that Aveeno continuance sunblock it is suppose to stay on for a long time unlike other sunblocks that you have to put on every 80 minutes. The higher the number the better it is.

    There are no sure shot remedies to prevent the darkening of your skin however if you maintain a balanced diet you can give your skin a healthy and fresh appeal. Drink a lot of water during the day as it will help keep your skin hydrated and prevent it from drying too much. As far as possible your diet should contain a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and very low amounts of oily and heavy foods. Wear clothing that covers your arms completely in order to reduce or prevent the effect of tanning.

    There is also no quick way to get rid of a tan - if you avoid sunlight, your skin will gradually become lighter and lighter till it reaches its natural color, but this is certainly not something that will happen in 4 days. In any case, there is nothing wrong with a tan, and especially since you have developed it doing something that you obviously enjoy, you should instead be proud of it.
