What to do wen a vehicle is marked for 72 hours? ( in parking control)?

im a parking control officer and i wanna know wat i have to do when i am asked to mark a car for parking in an lot for more than 72 hours!!!!

  1. If you ARE the parking control officer, then you should KNOW what to do.  Ask your boss.  It is him or his boss that sets policy.  It may be that the next step is to call the tow company to have the vehicle removed.  But, you better be sure that this IS the company policy or YOU could get in big trouble.

  3. This is a sticky situation..........

    1. There has to be a tow warning sign posted on the property at all exits and entrances.

    2. The parking lot will have guidelines that you should know about.

    3. If not talk with the owner of the parking lot first.

    4. "DO NOT" have the car towed, you can be labile for this.

    5. The last thing if all else fails is to contact the police department and ask them.
